Dr Ho obtained her FRCS in General Surgery in 1996 and a Doctorate in Medicine in 2004.
She trained in the Breast Service, Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York from 1998 to 2000.
Upon her return, she developed her interest in breast surgery and led the Breast Service at National Cancer Centre Singapore from 2006. For her exceptional care and commitment to patients, she has won numerous accolades, including the prestigious SingHealth GCEO Excellence Award/Outstanding Clinician Award and the Healthcare Humanity Award in 2011.
In addition to extensive involvement in breast cancer research, Dr Ho has also been fervent in public education on breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment and survivorship.
